At La Vaca Gigante, the challenge doesn’t begin when the horn sounds. It starts much earlier. It starts with a clear idea: using the power of the ocean to create real impact.

We are Obsession, the organizing surf club behind La Vaca Gigante, and we believe this event is about much more than big wave surfing. It’s about community, commitment, and giving something back to society through the sea we love.

That’s why this year we’re launching a challenge that goes beyond sport.

Every wave surfed, every effort, and every emotion experienced at La Vaca Gigante will support a greater purpose: helping the Williams Syndrome Association of Cantabria, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with Williams syndrome and their families through support, guidance, and visibility.

This challenge doesn’t belong to just one person. It’s collective. It belongs to those in the water, those cheering from shore, and everyone who chooses to support this cause.

Today, we invite you to be part of this journey.
To push with us from solid ground.
To turn this challenge into something that truly leaves a mark.

Will you join our solidarity wave and help by making a donation to this cause?
Together, we can take La Vaca Gigante much further than the ocean can reach.

Thank you for being there.
See you on the shore and in the water
